Note on No Level[edit]

The No level indication is used for profiles or competences that have no defined (EQF) level. This can have several reasons:

  • ESCO competences are generic and can be interpreted / used on different levels. Therefore no level can be defined.
  • ESCO occupations have no defined level.
  • Occupations can have a different rating depending on the country they are used.
  • Micro-credentials can be used on several levels.

On the other hand, a level indicator is needed bacause it is part of the unique identifier. Therefore we use No Level with code 00 for the situations above.
