Merging doubles

It happens that an item exists twice by mistake. In order to solve this:

• merge the two items into one.
• make sure the links to the emptied item are changed to the new one.
• make the empty one obsolete (see deleting items)

Deleting items

It is for technical reasons and for the integrity of the data impossible to delete an item. Instead of deleting, we mark them obsolate:

• ensure the item is completely empty, including the header.
• add the [instance of] property with a value "item to be reused" (Q465)

Reusing items

To avoid that obsolate items, marked "item to be reused" (Q465) stay in the database, we reuse them.

• click "recycle items" in the menu
• run the query by clicking the white triangle
• click one of the items and reuse them (don't forget to remove the [instance of] = "item to be reused" property)
